Steven Willand Inc. began in 1966 as a family owned retail Lawn & Garden dealer selling and servicing the lawn & garden needs in the Fairfield, NJ area. Two years later, SWI moved into wholesale distribution and continued to grow. In 1986 Steven Willand Inc moved into its current location location in Augusta, New Jersey.

About the President

Scott Willand graduated from Lycoming College in 1980 with a bachelors degree in accounting. Shortly after graduation he joined Steven Willand Inc in the collections department. Scott became President of SWI in 1994. Throughout his time as president, Scott has served on numerous distributor councils such as RedMax and Schiller Brands as well as Jacobsen’s dealer council. In his free time Scott enjoys golfing as well as keeping his lawn in order with his original 1986 36” walk-behind Bobcat mower.
